What is Sauce Pizza and Wine franchise?

Bradburn: Sauce Pizza and Wine is an elevated, fast casual restaurant where you can get great pizza and pasta at a price point that works for your whole family. It’s elevated, but not intimidating. You’re not going to get a $5.00 pizza off the shelf that’s been sitting there for who knows how long. Everything is made to order, but you can still get in and out in 15 minutes.

Sauce Pizza and Wine offers a lot of great opportunities when it comes to the speed of service. Everyone’s on the go, so it is important that we give people a quality product in a good time frame. We have a lot of great, familiar options and a great atmosphere.

Why is now an exciting time to invest in the Sauce Pizza and Wine brand?

Bradburn: In today’s current economic climate, we offer a great price and value for families who want to come out, have a delicious meal, and not spend an arm and a leg. Our locations have a warm and welcoming environment that’s enjoyed by all our customers.

It’s also important to note that while Sauce Pizza and Wine is new to franchising, we’re not new to the restaurant industry. We’ve been around for well over 20 years. We’ve been a staple in people’s lives and families for almost three decades. So, although we’re new to the franchise side, it’s an established, well-recognized brand in Arizona.

What type of culture are you trying to build at Sauce Pizza and Wine?

Bradburn: We have fun here, and we take care of our people who take care of our guests. Because of that, people stick around. We have managers who’ve been here for 10 years. Simply put, everyone’s family here. At the end of the day, we’re all on the same team. I think that the way we interact on a daily basis is a lot different than other companies I’ve worked for. The culture is alive and well, and it’s a good feeling to work for Sauce Pizza and Wine.

How does Sauce Pizza and Wine’s maintain consistency across locations?

Bradburn: Consistency in the fast casual market is the name of the game. You need to have the same product every single time at the same location. That’s when consistency is most important. Following up at every store and making sure that everything is consistent is one of the most important things we can do.

What advice would you give a new franchise owner?

Bradburn: For any franchisee, there are always going to be a lot of hurdles. The one thing I’d share about joining Sauce Pizza and Wine as a new franchisee is that we are passionate. Passionate about our product. Passionate about our food. Passionate about our people. We’re also a really welcoming environment, and we’re very proud of that.

You can be the most competent franchisee there is, but if you don’t feel that the team under you is able to manage the day-to-day, you’re not going to be successful. You have to find a strong General Manager with the passion to develop people. I’ve found that the most successful teams can delegate, coach, and teach.

Where do you see Sauce Pizza and Wine in 5 years? 10 years? 15 years?

Bradburn: We have 13 locations in Arizona currently, and we haven’t even tapped some of the great areas elsewhere in this state. Looking ahead at out of state expansion is definitely on the horizon. I’m not sure how many restaurants we’ll have in 5, 10, or 15 years, but we’re growing and it’s an exciting time to be a part of Sauce Pizza and Wine.
